In this introductory session, we will explore how systemic inequities and cultural perspectives shape science education and student engagement, and how to develop strategies to create more inclusive, representative, and equitable learning environments. You will be able to take away some ideas of where to go to get science role models and representations to support embedding your school EDI policy in the science department.
