Starting out teaching year 12 chemistry SL241

Understand the basics you need to start teaching year 12 chemistry

Summary

Starting out to teach A Level for the first time can be daunting. This course will help you be more confident in what is expected of you as an A level teacher and how the teaching may differ from that lower down in the school. We will support you with developing students' basic concepts, as well as dealing with the structure and compulsory areas of the A level curriculum like the practical work requirements. We will highlight and use some resources that you may find helpful in your journey and allow you to ask questions to move yourself to a stronger position and  begin teaching!
