Questions on everyday physics

Written for students of GCSE and standard grade physics, this text consists of a mix of aspects from everyday life. The contents include record players, the weather, microwave ovens, cold fusion, musical instruments, satellite communication, rock climbing and cameras. The stimulus material is followed by a number of structured questions which increase in difficulty within each unit.

More difficult topics are found towards the end of the book so that the text can be used with a wide range of abilities. The questions can be used for homework, revision and to stimulate work in class. As well as testing knowledge and understanding skills such as interpreting graphs, comprehension and designed experiments are covered. This edition of "Questions on Everyday Physics" does not contain answers.
