Probability 2: some basic rules of probability

This resource from the Continuing Mathematics Project has three units covering probability. Some Basic Rules of Probability is the second unit and its objectives are for students to consolidate their understanding of 'complementary events', remind them that the sum of complementary events is 1 and show how to exploit this relationship, to distinguish between 'joint' events and 'mutually exclusive' events and use the appropriate notation.
