Probability 3: more basic rules of probability

This resource from the Continuing Mathematics Project has three units covering probability. More Basic Rules of Probability is the third unit and covers events for which probabilities are calculated by multiplication. They are called AND events, it shows that they are composed of basic events which can either be independent or be dependent upon each other. Path diagrams are introduced because they offer an easy way of studying AND events and also are important in their own right.
