Exploration resources with assessment guidelines
Part of a series intended for pupils taking National Curriculum science syllabuses, this unit contains photocopiable sheets to help further pupils' study of the topics contained in the main part of the series.
All attainment targets are covered at levels 3 to 5 as recommended and information technology is integrated wherever appropriate. Particular emphasis is placed on AT 17 - the nature of science.
Exploration of science has a central role in the pupils' books which is reinforced by the explorations resource and the series is accompanied by a teacher's handbook which suggests teaching and learning strategies and provides attainment target matrices and assessment guidelines.
