Skill 6.8 Evaluating Scientific Posters
In this activity, produced by Gatsby Science Enhancement Programme, students evaluate a poster that they have previously prepared. Students will: • plan the presentation of a scientific poster • anticipate questions that may be asked on the topic • evaluate the quality of a scientific poster. Students work in pairs to assess their posters and discuss presenting it verbally. The students swap with another pair to carry out evaluation of the presentation. This is followed by a class discussion on the outcomes.
