GCSE Student Booster - Errors, Testing and Tracing (Pre-event materials)

In this online session on Errors, Testing, and Tracking, you’ll explore key GCSE programming concepts related to identifying, testing, and resolving errors in code.

By attending, you’ll:

  • Learn how to identify and fix common programming errors, including syntax, logic, and runtime errors.
  • Discover how to use debugging tools and techniques to resolve errors and track program flow.
  • Explore different testing strategies, such as normal, boundary, and erroneous data testing, to ensure robust code.
  • Practice using trace tables to predict and follow the execution of code, aiding in error detection and program comprehension.

By the end of this session, you’ll feel confident in applying debugging techniques, using testing methods to check your code for errors, and tracking program execution to ensure your programs run smoothly and without issues.
