The newspaper activity book
A selection of activities, complete with suggestions for work cards that can be photocopied, designed to reinforce some of the basic skills taught in a number fo subject areas. The purpose of the project is the creation of strategies and schemes which will establish the wider use of newspapers in schools as a teaching aid and stimulate pupils' interest in them as a whole.
