Knots unravelled: from string to mathematics

Knots Unravelled provides a guide to knots, from using simple string to the branch of mathematics known as knot theory. 

A feature of the text is the range of tasks and activities for the reader to work through, either with string or rope, or a pencil and paper. Solutions are provided.
