Technician science

The text introduces the basic language, fundamental science concepts and methods of study which form a part of any construction, engineering and technician science course. It aims to help the student develop an understanding of such matters as chemical reactions, atoms and molecules, energy and heat, and fluid pressure.

The book places emphasis on experimental work and laboratory investigation. It includes worked examples and self-assessment questions.;The text covers the science unit of the BTEC First Course and the science element of equivalent technician and CGLI exams.
