Maths matters plus: teachers' guide

This is a revised and updated version of the foundation course "Maths Matters" for lower ability students. It is designed to take into account the demands of the National Curriculum at Stage 4 and is particularly aimed at those students likely to obtain the lower GCSE grades, or those not taking GCSE.

This teacher's book includes annotated facsimiles of the material in the student's books. It also offers suggestions for schemes of work and for the organization of teaching on the light of the National Curriculum.

The topics of the course are mainly "real-world" problems for which students need to find practical solutions, using their mathematical knowledge.
