Math myth: and other STEM delusions

The author argues and expands his scrutiny of many presumptions that maths and the common core mathematics syllabus should be required of every student, and discusses that the emphasis on STEM is diverting attention from other pursuits and proposes alternatives to teaching with figures, quantitative reasoning and statistics.
