The National Physical Laboratory (NPL) and the Institute of Physics (IOP) have produced a quick revision guide for 16 to 19 year olds studying physics, 'Pocket physics – a handy guide for bright stars'. The guide is an updated version of 'The best pocket physics handbook in the galaxy … ever …'.

Topics covered in the guide include: Mechanics; Electric circuits; Radioactivity; Fields; Waves; the seven SI base units and SI derived units.
