Principles of statistical techniques (second edition)

This first course in statistics is intended for students who are primarily interested in the practical applications of the subject and are rather less concerned with the philosophical bases of the concepts used. A selection of the more widely applicable statistical tools is described rather than attempting to provide a complete set of tools for use in each and every situation.

The second edition has been expanded to widen its appeal at both the school and university level.
