Trees
The Young Scientist Investigates topic book on Trees was first published in 1981 and gives information, illustrated by full colour photographs and drawings, about trees. It describes their parts and how their seeds are formed and dispersed. It considers the different appearance of some trees in different seasons. The book is intended for children aged 8-11 to read and then to answer question and carry out observations of trees in the area of the school.
